MAH #3 Structural Failure

Structural failure is a facility wide hazard scenario which typically occurs as a result of several factors which includes, but not limited to extreme weather, fire and explosion scenarios, excessive corrosive and erosion, incorrect weight distribution on deck, poor construction / foundation design, dropped objects, crane collapse, vessel collisions and helicopter crash scenarios. This hazard could potentially result in escalation and hydrocarbon release contributing to fires and explosions, personnel fatalities and total loss of production. Furthermore, this event could also result in environmental damage and asset damage, and likely to cause loss of company reputation.
